Assam has been subjected to Mother nature's fury yet again in the form of the "usual" Floods.The apathy of the Government right from the time of Independence is shocking.While the Indira congress party and M M Singh talk of Infrastructure for the sake of the oligarchs,MNCs and the Stock markets,the nation loses crops,Human and animal lives. Latest :-61 die and 20 lakhs displaced.
Properties are damaged.

Jalpaiguri, adversely affected by floods,due to heavy rains.Vast areas submerged.one swept away.
21/7/2012:-
2 wahsed away in Kurnool ,due to flash floods.
One wonders,whether, the apathy of the Government,is NOT for DEPOPULATION
